Hometown Christmas, Chamber Holiday parade Friday

Project Build Borger is hosting its 6th annual Hometown Christmas on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.

The festive evening will feature horse carriage rides, the annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade, food and merchandise vendors, live music by the Amarillo variety/dance band Insufficient Funds, a car show, and Christmas shopping.

Santa Claus will also be on hand to visit with local children about all their Christmas wishes and to take photos. A Snow Globe bounce house will also be available for the children.

Project Build Borger is “a local organization made up of professionals and people passionate about building community in Borger by combating community deterioration through organized events and activities,” according to their Facebook page.
